Drivers Named for Suzuka Test
Details have emerged of some of the drivers who will take part in Monday’s Formula Nippon rookie test at Suzuka.
On the list are a number of drivers from the Japanese Formula 3 championship, including Kazuki Nakajima, Hideto Yasuoka, Naoki Yokimizo and Ryo Orime.
Non-Japanese drivers taking part include New Zealand A1GP driver Jonny Reid and Sweden’s Alx Danielsson.
Organisers of the Formula Nippon championship are to hold a rookie test day next week for prospective drivers to learn more about the cars and series.
Six teams will take part in the test, with seven drivers already confirmed. The test takes place at Suzuka next Monday, after this weekend’s final round of the 2005 championship. (Source: Formula 3000)
