F1 Honda head to Bahrain for Testing
Honda Racing F1 are heading out to the Gulf Nation of Bahrain in a weeks time, testing the new RA106 chassis ahead of the season opener in March.
Testing will run between 13 and 21 February, and Honda will be joined by both Ferrari and Scuderia Toro Rosso. Ferrari have already tested at the desert circuit this year, running a three day test back in November.
Both Honda Racing F1 drivers will be present, with Rubens Barrichello and Jenson Button gaining valuable mileage ahead of the Grand Prix on 12 March.
The circuit will be open to the public on Thursday 16 February, when Bahrain International Circuit general manager Martin Whitaker expects “thousands of motor sport fans” to show up.
