F1 Headline of the Week

Courtesy of Sukudo-Online: Super-Aguri Shakedown Due Today.

And my obligatory snarky comment: Considering the four year old Arrows chassis with a new Honda engine duct taped to it’s butt shouldn’t that read, Aguri Breakdown Due Today? Now for the real news. The shake down actually occured yesterday at the Kemble airfield in Gloucestershire, UK. The “test” was purely a shakedown to test system functions and the team will now take the SA05 to Barcelona for its first ‘proper’ test, 21 February for three days.

Pitpass is reporting Super Aguri has finally ended all the speculation over its driver lineup. Super Aguri has officially announced that Takuma Sato and Yuji Ide will be the team’s drivers for the 2006 FIA Formula One World Championship.

The Formula One Blog has posted images of both drivers and the Super Aguri chassis “in white.”
