One of the premier entry-level open-wheel series, the 2006 edition of the Skip Barber National Championship gets underway this weekend as a companion event to the A1GP Series at Mazda Raceway, Laguna Seca California.

One of the Philippines auto racing stars, Enzo Pastor, will be making his Skip Barber and North American debut in the event.

Younger brother of Philipines legend Ton Pastor, Enzo is a past winner of the 2002 Asian Formula Renault Championship, has competed in the Philippine Touring Car Championship series and Asian F3 Series.
