Greg Murphy Out of Melbourne V8 SuperCar Event
Greg Murphy has confirmed he is out of this weekend’s V8 Supercars event at the Grand Prix meeting in Melbourne.
Murphy hit the wall hard in last Sunday’s opening leg of the championship around the streets of Adelaide.
His team says the car was virtually destroyed in the crash and can not be repaired in time for the non-championship round at the Formula One meeting.
Team officials say the time off will be used to get the car ready for round two of the championship, at Pukekohe in three weeks.
