Tsukakoshi sets the pace in Japan F3 free practice
All-Japan F3 round 2 is held in Suzuka circuit. Kodai Tsukakoshi (Honda Team Mugen) took a top with unofficial lap record 1′54.127. TOM’S drivers, Kazuya Oshima and Adrian Sutil followed.
In the morning session, each team devoted itself to setup, and Roberto Streit (INGING) set the pace. Honda’s drivers Tsukakoshi and Takuya Izawa (Honda Toda Racing) followed.
In the afternoon session, Hiroaki Ishiura crashed at S corner. Red flag was waved and the session was stopped. However, there was not more problem, and each team attacked with new tyres. Tsukakoshi lapped in unofficial lap record 1′54.127, it was the top time of the day. Two race winner of the first round, Oshima and Sutil kept the good condition and took the second and third place. Izawa took the fourth place. Streit, Fabio Carbone (ThreeBond) and Marko Asmer (Three Bond) followed.
Qualifying session 1, 2 and race 1 will be held in tomorrow.
