The Formula Three cars were driven by Dado Pena, Tyson Sy, John O’Hara, Pepon Marave and Ali Jackson. Gaby Dela Merced and JP Tuason drove Formula Toyota cars. Manila Sports Council Chairman, Ali Atienza, also took to the wheel of a Formula Toyota. “I never thought I would live to see the day Formula Three cars would be on the streets of Manila” said 2003 Champion Pepon Marave, “maybe now at some time in the future we can actually race in Manila.”

The event featured many disciplines of the sport with demonstrations by go-karts, including cadet karters in Speedzone karts, Philippine Touring Car Championship competitors who will start their first round on May 7th at the Batangas Race Circuit, Suzuki Stunt Bikes and Superbikes together with Porsche and Muscle cars.

The demonstration was held on one of the most famous streets in Manila, Roxas Boulevard, which runs along the sea front of Manila Bay and is a popular eating and meeting place for the inhabitants of the capital city of the Philippines. Ginebra San Miguel supported the event, the paddock area looked impressive with the San Miguel stage and tents for all the participants.

Aside from San Miguel the Street Drive was supported by AF3’s partners, Yokohama Tyres, PLDT MyPad and PLTD myDSL, Denso Spark Plugs, Suzuki, Big Shot Billiards, Oxy Enhanced Water, Mossimo and official hotel, Lima City Hotel. Speedzone Karting and City Karts brought along their karts whilst PGA cars demonstrated their Porsche cars.
