Tsukakoshi sets the pace in free practice at Motegi

Kodai Tsukakoshi (Honda Team Mugen) set the pace in free practice of All-Japan F3 Championship Round 5 & 6 at Twinring Motegi.

Free practice is held under the cloudy sky. Kazuya Oshima (TOM’S) set the pace in the morning session. Oshima’s best lap was 1′46.929, it was quicker than the best lap of official test which was held at this circuit two weeks ago. Fabio Carbone (ThreeBond) took the second place, and Takuya Izawa (Honda Toda Racing) was the third.

In the afternoon session, each driver hit the ground with new tyres. In the end, Tsukakoshi jumped to the top with a lap in 1′47.148. Roberto Streit (INGING) took the second place. TOM’S drivers, Oshima, Hideto Yasuoka and Adrian Sutil followed.

This year’s All-Japan F3 Championship is very competitive, four winners in four races. Will Tsukakoshi who shows fragility in the final race become the fifth winner of this year?
