A1 Team Canada’s Car Heads Home

A1 Team Canada will take their race winning car home for the first time this weekend, giving race fans their first opportunity to see the car, as well as to meet the team’s star drivers. A1 Team Canada drivers Sean McIntosh and Patrick Carpentier will be in Montreal to meet fans and sign autographs.

As Montreal celebrates hosting the Canadian Grand Prix, the A1 Team Canada car will take pride of place in the St. Laurent Street Festival, on one of the cities busiest and most colourful streets. The team’s drivers will be available to sign autographs at 8pm on Friday 23 June and again on Saturday 24 June at 11.30am and 4pm.

McIntosh and Carpentier led A1 Team Canada to tenth place in A1’s first season, after 11 races on six continents. McIntosh drove the Canadian car to a superb victory, after starting last in the Feature race at the Sentul International Circuit in Indonesia. Quebec’s Patrick Carpentier completed the final three rounds of the season, cementing the team’s tenth place in the standings.

The A1 Team Canada car and driver autograph session will be hosted outside the Eccentric building on the junction of St. Laurent and Prince Arthur street.
