McIntyre, Baird Take Pukekohe Park Wins
John McIntyre won his first NZV8s championship in the final flame-filled race of the season at Pukekohe Park Raceway yesterday. The title chase went down to the wire, with McIntyre holding just a 13-point advantage over defending champion Kayne Scott before the final race.
In the reverse-grid format McIntyre and Scott were at the back with [...]
Tander Hot After Shortened Race
Holden hotshot Garth Tander said he was shocked when the final V8 Supercar race at Pukekohe Park Raceway was shortened due to TV commitments, potentially costing him the third round.
The scheduled 43-lap final race was condensed to 36 after Paul Morris rolled his Commodore on lap five and then Dean Canto hit the wall on [...]

It was a miserable day. The wind was coming straight off [...]
Oh So Slippery Supercars
If practice yesterday is anything to go by, qualifying at Pukekohe today should be very interesting.
Many of the V8 Supercar teams have new cars, and as a result a new aerodynamic package. This, with the new tyre compounds, meant a lot of the teams had to find new set-ups for the cars, and the drivers [...]

Pukekohe: Caltex Racing Preview
Caltex Racing’s Russell Ingall has more than enough incentive to try and win round three of the 2007 V8 Supercar Championship Series at New Zealand’s Pukekohe Park Raceway this weekend.
The 2005 V8 Supercar Champion has finished on the podium for the past two years at New Zealand’s most unique motorsport facility, but he has never [...]
