Asia Supercar Challenge to Join AFOS
Supercar Club Hong Kong held its Race Drivers Meeting, together with our two new partner promoters, March 3 International Inc., and Motorsport Asia Limited . In attendance were the representatives from the three companies, and most of the ASCC drivers and new team managers. The new changes and rules and regulations for the 2008 Asia Supercar Challenge were explained to the confirmed entrants for this year.
Supercar Club Hong Kong has established a trust, understanding and friendship with all the major race teams and race drivers. All participants agreed to support the new partnership, and believed that this new setup will bring more development opportunities in the Asia region for Asia Supercar Challenge 亞洲超級跑車挑戰賽(ASCC) 2008 參賽名單如下:

Supercar Club Hong Kong established the Asia Supercar Challenge and has been the organiser of the GT race series since 2003. ASCC is sanctioned by the FIA as an Asia Zone International Event, and is one of the Asian Zone’s top GT class racing events. This is the sixth year for the ASCC, where all the competing race cars are GT3 class vehicles, this includes Porsche 996 Cup/997 GT3, Ferrari 360/430 Challenge, Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and Lamgborghini Gallardo GT3.
ASCC 2008 race events will be held in various race circuits including Shanghai, Zhuhai, Chengdu, Malaysia and Macau. With ASCC joining CFO and AFOS race series, this will bring top spectacular GT racing to the mass population in China and Asia.
Supercar Club Hong Kong, March3 International Inc and Motorsport Asia Limited have reached an agreement to jointly organize the 2008 Asia Supercar Challenge.
Three race weekends from the series, which has been part of the China Formula Open event, will now be included in the Asian Festival Of Speed calendar; at Zhuhai International Circuit in April and at Sepang International Circuit in May and June. AFOS fans will now be able to witness great supercar action with the inclusion of the Asia Supercar Challenge.
Motorsport Asia Limited is Asia’s leading and most professional autosports promoter, and the organizer of the Asian Festival Of Speed race series since 1996. Current races under its banner include the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, Formula BMW Pacific, Formula V6 Asia and Asian Touring Car Series.

Driver development now begins from Karting to formula single seaters and finally Formula One, which greatly enhances the healthy development of autosports in China
