OH NO, Not THAT!

Woman have been spotted flashing their breasts at the Gold Coast Indy despite a crackdown by Premier Anna Bligh on “lewd behaviour”. Ms Bligh last week told organizers to clean up their act and warned revellers they would face arrest over such behaviour.

INDY fans hoping to rent out apartments overlooking the Surfers Paradise track are being forced to sign code of conduct agreements in which they promise not to flash.

Under a new code of conduct highrise unit owners were asked to warn guests not to expose themselves, but Ms Bligh admitted it would be difficult to police.

Ms Bligh was offended by “lewd” behaviour, including women flashing their breasts on highrise balconies, during her first visit to Indy as Premier last year and has told organisers to clean up their act.

“I don’t think anyone wants to see the fun taken out of Indy but I don’t think most people want to see it cross the line into obscenity either. (Wanna bet! -ed)

“You can have a lot of fun without turning off international visitors and spectators.”

But as our photos, taken trackside at Indy show, Bligh’s message hasn’t got through.

  1. The more publicity Bligh gives this, the mor it’s going to happen. I really dont know what the fuss is, it’s been happening for years & nobody (other than a few old wowsers) cares.

The beach is a hundred yards from the track & there are plenty of topless women on the sand.

  2. Funny how she’ worried about “international visitors.” The vast majority of them come from countries that have totally nude beaches.
