Rick Bates and Andrew Fisher combined to win a frenetic V8 Ute race finale at the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide Sunday afternoon.

In his first ever V8 Ute race, David “Sideways” Sieders scored an emphatic win in front of a lively and vocal Clipsal 500 crowd to lead home some of the superstars of the category in Race Two of Round One of the 2010 Yokohama V8 Ute Racing Series -protected by Armor All.

NASCAR development driver George Miedecke dominated the Yokohama V8 Ute Legend race with a flag to flag win at the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide. Driving a Ford XR8 Falcon Ute, the Charlotte based young gun ran side by side with New Zealand V8 Ute Series leader Chris Pither for the first 3 corners, before taking the lead under brakes at Turn 5.

The NZV8 Ute Series ventures into fresh territory when it makes its first appearance at the new state-of-the-art Hampton Downs Motorsport Park at Meremere this weekend.
