The Pizza Company Team Qi-Meritus driver, Earl Bamber, claimed his third Pole to Flag win of the Formula V6 Asia season today at Okayama International Circuit. The 19-year old maintained a fast pace close to the pace he set during the qualifying session held earlier in the day.
It’s the halfway mark in the season and the Formula V6 Asia will head for the first time to the beautiful Okayama prefecture on the southern coast of the island of Honshu in Japan. Just one week from now, on 24-26 October 2008, 12 drivers and their teams will continue with the 2008 season after a long 3-month break.
The new car has put the brakes on Team India’s participation in the A1 season-opening race at Zandvoort, the Netherlands. The team, made up of Narain Karthikeyan, Armaan Ebrahim and Parthiv Sureshwaran, will not be at the starting grid on Saturday after there was a delay in delivery of parts.

Black Tara’s Armaan Ebrahim won the Formula V6 Asia Super Sprint race on Saturday at Sepang. In second place was Earl Bamber, driving for The Pizza Company Team QI-Meritus. Completing the podium was Earl’s teammate James Grunwell in third.
